“stop and smell the roses” at the Historic San Jose
Municipal Rose Garden by organizing a
TEAM BUILDING DAY.
This 7 acre regional park just outside of downtown San
Jose offers a unique opportunity for companies to show their
values and commitment to community spirit.
Working together in the garden fosters a spirit of community,
and provides a level playing field where everyone contributes
equally. You will see immediate results from your work,
and will be able to return to see the how the area your groups
"adopted" is doing.
Garden staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist your group
and provide coordination to make your day memorable.
Tools will be provided.
Activities can be scheduled between April – January and mostly consist of general maintenance of Roses. Lesson will be provided which can come in handy for home gardens!
The Park has barbeque pits and picnic tables under a beautiful redwood grove if you’d like treat your employees to a nice lunch after some rewarding volunteer work!
The field is perfect for a little game of ultimate Frisbee, or just to toss the ball around after lunch. Or how about a "sack race" between staff and management?
Plenty of opportunities for single events or for monthly community service days.
